Associate Neurological Physiotherapist
Claire qualified in 2007 with a Bsc Honours in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology. Claire specialises in neurological physiotherapy. After completing her junior and senior rotations in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire she began to specialise in Community Rehabilitation.
Since moving to Devon in 2013, Claire specialises in Community Neurological Rehabilitation and joined the team at Plymouth Neurophysio in 2017. In her normal working week Claire treats people with problems relating to Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and many other neurological conditions. Her particularly specialist areas are Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.
In her spare time Claire likes to make the most of the beautiful county that we live in, getting out and about in the countryside by rock climbing, hiking, sailing and surfing. When the Devon weather comes in- she enjoys singing and doing textile crafts.
