Megan Brown

Bsc (Hons) Sports Therapy

Rehabilitation Assistant and Sports & Massage Therapist

Megan holds a BSc in Sports Therapy from Marjon University, graduating in 2021. She joined PNP in December 2021, where she works with adults and children across varying levels of ability, offering diverse skill sets including massage, personal training, and rehabilitation.

Megan immigrated to Southampton from South Africa in 2014 and relocated to Plymouth in 2017 to pursue her studies. During her university career, she completed a variety of placements, gaining experience with sports teams, musculoskeletal clinics, Mount Gould Hospital, and the university-run clinic at Marjon.

Since graduating, Megan has expanded her professional scope by participating in regular hydrotherapy sessions, leading fitness classes at Headway House, and working extensively with a wide range of neurodiverse adults and children.

Prior to her current role, Megan worked as a support worker for several years to fund her education. This experience in various care settings taught her invaluable lessons about different abilities and built her confidence in working with individuals with neurological conditions. While her background is sports-based, Megan has a strong interest in adapting exercises and techniques for people of all abilities to improve their mobility and quality of life.
